Animal Care Camp at Mountain Vista Homestead At Mountain Vista, children ages 3-6, are invited into a hands-on experience of caring for animals while learning the foundations of animal husbandry. This camp is designed for kids who love animals and want to better understand how to care for them with confidence and compassion. Each day, campers will help with feeding routines, practice gentle and respectful handling, and learn how to read and respond to animal behavior. Through guided, up-close experiences with the animals on our homestead, children will develop responsibility, empathy, and a deeper connection to the living world around them. This is more than just spending time with animals. It is about learning how to care for them well.
