Animal Care & Behavior Camp at Mountain Vista Homestead At Mountain Vista, we offer a hands-on experience for children who love animals and want to understand them more deeply. This camp introduces the basics of animal behavior, helping campers ages 7-11, learn how animals communicate, respond, and interact. Each day, campers will participate in feeding schedules, gaining a sense of routine and responsibility while learning what different animals need to thrive. They will also be introduced to simple, gentle training techniques, building trust and connection through consistency and care. Through daily interaction with the animals on our homestead, along with fun games and activities, children will develop confidence, patience, and a greater understanding of how to work with animals in a respectful and meaningful way.
