Service Description

At Mountain Vista, we offer a unique course on animal care and animal husbandry for kids who have a passion for nature and animals. Through hands-on activities, interactive learning, and expert guidance, children will discover the importance of caring for and better understanding our furry and feathered friends. Our course not only teaches valuable skills in animal care but also instills a sense of responsibility and empathy towards all living creatures. We will focus on the special animals we have on our homestead! We will care and handle the animals everyday, as well as play fun learning games and activities. Day 1: Our feathered friends: We will learn about chickens, ducks, peafowl, and quail. Kids will collect eggs and take home half a dozen each. Kids can take home a peacock feather! Day 2: We will learn about mouser cats and shepherd dogs. We will play a fun cat-and-mouse game and make a natural bird feeder to take home. Day 3: We will learn about bunnies and hedgies! We will build a bunny run and move them around the yard. We will hold and pet the bunnies. Kids will make pom-pom bunnies and hedgies to take home.
